Autumn Term 2026 - Welcome!
Welcome back to school after the summer holidays and a BIG new welcome to our year 3 learners and other new starters. We hope that the the summer was all you hoped it to be. Holiday periods can be vastly different for everyone - we always need to remind ourselves that transitioning back to school after a holiday can be challenging for some pupils and therefore communication is so important. Some pupils need reassurance about the learning and or friendships, some need facts and dates shared and ALL pupils need to feel heard and understood. It is especially so in Term 1 when there are lots of new routines and systems to get to know. Please remember to communicate with your child's class teacher(s) to find the best fit for your child.
Please use this site to support you and your child's needs. I will post new and relevant materials linked with SEND, additional needs, mental health and SEND Wiltshire support materials on a regular basis.

SEND Reform: what this means for you and your child
The Government is changing the way SEND services work across the country, and Wiltshire has submitted its SEND Reform plan setting out how support will be improved locally.
The aim is to make SEND support quicker, clearer and better joined up, helping children and young people get the right help sooner. Families have told us that support can sometimes feel confusing, take too long to access and require them to repeat their story to different services. These changes are designed to improve that experience.

Wiltshire is committed to working with families throughout the reform process, listening to feedback and ensuring support continues while changes are introduced.
