Every child, Every chance, Every day

Head's Welcome

I am delighted to welcome you to the Durrington Junior School Website. I hope you enjoy reading about all that we do and find the information you’re looking for. Some parts of our website are still developing, so if there’s something you’d like to know but can’t find, please call or email the school and we’ll be pleased to help.

Durrington Junior provides an education for children aged from 7 to 11 years (Key Stage Two). Our aim is to make the school a happy place where children learn, discover and develop. We build on the basic skills of Key Stage One but also offer a growing range of opportunities to learn about the wider world, enabling each child to discover his or her special talents and giving them the tools to make the best of themselves. Ultimately we want to send our Year 6 leavers into the next stage of their life as confident, successful and considerate members of their community.

There’s always lots happening at our school, so do keep an eye on the website for our latest news and a preview of what’s happening in the future.
