This term we have been thinking about word classes (nouns, verbs and adjectives) and sentence writing.
We created some mouth-watering chocolate poems using descriptive sentences we made. We tried a piece of chocolate and thought of adjectives to describe what is tastes, smells, feels and looks like. Then we put these adjectives into descriptive sentences.
Have a read of our amazing poems below!
In Maths, we have been thinking about place value. We have used a variety of resources, such as dienes and place value counters. To improve our problem solving and reasoning skills, we have been working on 'In-focus tasks'. These are questions where we have to show our thinking in a variety of ways, through pictures, calculations and words.
